Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Vic.
This blog is all about food and well-being. Therefore, I am sharing my healthy recipes and experiences with you. It is a little bit of paleo foods, vegan eats or guilt free sweets. Mostly, sugar-free, diary-free and gluten-free.
I am half Indian half German. I was born and raised in a small town in the North of Germany. I fell in love with Australia when I was in school. Hence, I had the opportunity to live in Sydney in 2014. I studied in beautiful Vienna and recently moved Copenhagen for my Master's degree.
A very good friend of mine once said - Do something you love everyday'.
Ever since I was young I loved to create, take pictures, to cook. And I love to share. So this is exactly what I am doing right now.
As a kid I hardly cared about what I ate. Growing older I realised that certain foods affect me. My health issues often times made me feel so uncomfortable that I wanted to crawl out of my own skin. I started to understand that all I needed was to adapt a healthy and clean lifestyle.
My dad is a Ayurvedic doctor. He shares a lot of his wisdom with me. And of course he shaped my views on food and medicine. Moreover, I have read a lot about food and nutrition. I have experienced and experimented with different diets in order to figure out which one would be the most healthiest. Hence, I came to the simplest conclusion: In order to be(come) a healthy person you must simply learn to listen to your body and to read the signals it gives you.
Eventually, I started to feel responsible for what I ate, understand my own health and to find out what is good for me. Today I can say that I have never felt happier and more energised than before. It is simply a result of eating the right things and regular exercise.
As I had great success, I want to encourage to do the same. Therefore, I am sharing my experiences with you helping you to adopt a healthier lifestyle. I am not saying you have to radically change your life. It is the little things. As every body is unique you have to find out for yourself what helps you best. Indeed one person's food can literally be another person's poison.
I can promise after having made the first little baby steps and started to think twice about what you nourish your body with, you will definitely feel a progress.
