Good morning, everyone.
Have a thought: What would a German breakfast be without Nutella? - Nothing.
It's practically THE breakfast spread number one. A typical daily breakfast looks a lot like a white flour 'Brötchen' roll or toast plus a thick layer of Nutella.
Sure it does tastes awesome....
Gosh i remember, I loved that shit and couldn't get enough of it... I didnt even need bread for it. Just hand me a spoon!
....but trust me, you don't want to know whats inside
So, loads of empty calories from sugar, no nutirents (at all!), no fibre... Congrautlations.
Your blood sugar explodes to infite and all your body craves is MORE of that stuff. Either you feed your body more of those quick sugars or your blood sugar plummets as quick at it rose before. Results in tiredness. Coffee now? Yes. Headaches? Go, grab the headache pills.
healthy? are you nutz?
This is my answer to Nutella. Simply guilt free NUT-ella!
The best thing about it: 2 ingredients only.
nuts and raw cocoa.
it tastes nuts, real ingredients = real taste
Its super easy to make and goes fairly quick! Its perfect for vegans, paleo friendly, sugar, lactose, gluten and guilt free.
You just need a blender for it. I love mine by now. I can make so many recipes with it. If you dont have one yet: definately worth to buy!
I made the guilt free Nut-ella together with my dad the other day and it turned out great! See how:
ALL YOU NEED:
- 2 cups of hazelnuts
- 2-3 tbsp raw cocoa powder
THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT
- Crack the hazelnuts
- Place them on tray and roast them for a few minutes in the oven - you can also use a pan. Make sure they don't burn!
- Rub the nuts together to remove the skins (by using a towel)
- Blend them until finely powdered
- Add the raw cocoa powder an blend again
Optional: If you like a bit more sweetness just add abage situp or stevia aswell. You can also add some little salt, cinnamon or vanilla essence. If you like your Nut-ella a bit more fluid just add a teaspoon of coconut oil.
simple. death by chocolate.
You can keep your guilt free Nut-ella it in a jar in the fridge. But i promise you it wont last long.
