Did you have had a great weekend so far? I did. But after going out and staying up late I needed something to fill up my battery again. This fresh green detox smoothie came what I needed this morning!

PARSLEY is rich in minerals like potassium, calcium, iron, and magnesium. Moreover it contains a lot of in many antioxidant vitamins like beta-carotene, vitamin C E and A. It acts as a great antioxidant especially when you are tired or sick.
FLAXSEED OlL is one of the most natural oils. It is a source of fibre and provides your body with essential omega 3 fats which our bodies can not product ourselves. I have a tablespoon of linseed oil every morning before breakfast. One tablespoon contains about 5 grams of the omega3s which is almost as much your daily intake. Being inflammatory it helps fighting variety of diseases.
COCONUT WATER besides its great taste it is hydrating your body and nourishing it with many minerals like potassium, magnesium. Great straight after gym or a long weekend ;)

I found that a lot of people go crazy for green stuff. Kale, spinach, wheatgrass.. It must be the colour which shouts : HEALTHY! And sometimes healthy does not really taste too great.
Chlorella is one of my superfoods. C is a single-celled, water grown green alga. It is found to have the highest chlorophyll level of any other plants.
For those who have never tried Chlorella it will taste a bit salty and fishy as it is algae.But with some sweet coconut water and other greens it is not as bad!

ALL YOU NEED:
- 250ml of 100% pure coconut water
- one teaspoon chlorella powder
- one cup of fresh baby spinach
- a couple of parsley leaves
- one teaspoon of flaxseed oil
- ice cubes, optional
THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT:
- Place all greens in the blender and mix until you get a foamy and smooth consistency
- Pour over the linseed oil and enjoy!
